The Inception

Mindful was founded by two women from Mumbai because of their simple desire to do good for the planet. As avid online shoppers, we were dismayed by the incessant use of plastic in packaging. The e-commerce sector is growing exponentially in India and therefore we want to offer more sustainable means to tackle the packaging problem. We aim to inspire communities to make ‘mindful’ choices for a green future.

The Need To Be Mindful

It’s no secret that we are in the midst of a climate crisis with plastic being one of the major earth pollutants. Moreover, plastic packaging forms a large proportion of waste and a lot of it can’t be reused or recycled. We can’t absolutely eliminate plastic from the packaging world at this stage but can strive to be more sensitive about the negative impact it is causing.

Mindful’s sustainable packaging solutions are here to prove that businesses don’t need to compromise on price or quality to fulfil their green goals. We have put in the research for greener packaging alternatives so that brands can continue to focus on their product. Furthermore, we cater to SMEs who are unable to place bulk for custom packaging and this too was one of the prime reasons to launch Mindful.

Mindful uses eco-friendly inks to print on the packaging. Lastly, most of our products are sourced locally in India to reduce the overall carbon footprint.
